The Goffi Carboni family are heirs to a prestigious tradition in antiques that began in 1828 and is now in its sixth generation. The family is chiefly interested in art from the period spanning the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries and Chinese and Japanese oriental works, in particular. In addition to carrying out evaluations and assisting in estate distributions, it holds exhibitions in its gallery every year.

The Arch. Giovanni Carboni, created the Simonetti Archive, www.archiviosimonetti.it, the most complete and rich collection of documents and works on the painter and antique dealer Attilio Simonetti (1843-1925), the most representative figure.
